DESCRIPTION:Warhammer Underworlds is a tactical arena combat game. This is a system designed for balanced\, small-scale tactical games that can be played quickly and easily by anyone\, but which even experienced players will find challenging to master. The game rules are designed with competitive play in mind; matches can be played in under 45 minutes\, on a smaller surface than our larger-scale games\, and will be ideal for club or tournament play. And not only that\, we’ll be fully supporting an organized play system for this game\, right from day one. \nThe forces you can use in this game will be drawn from races across the Mortal Realms\, including some for factions that have not received any new miniatures since we first ventured into the Age of Sigmar. Each of these sets will be composed of a small band of easy-to-assemble\, push-fit miniatures in the style of our single-pose heroes to represent a specific band of warriors from that faction. These are provided in coloured plastic\, and clip together\, so you can quite literally be playing with them within minutes of opening the box with no glue or paint needed! (Though they do look great painted\, and your dice will roll better – probably.) \nThe game is played using unique dice and card decks\, and these will\, to an extent\, be unique to each faction. Both decks of cards used in the game are fully customisable – meaning you can choose to create all manner of combinations of overlapping abilities to use and objectives to achieve. This can be a really rewarding part of the game – and means that even the same faction can be played in wildly different ways. We’re expecting to see all sorts of combinations tried out at game stores\, clubs and in tournaments. \n—description from the publisher \nIt’s for anyone that is currently playing or is interested in playing as Jason will have some of his warbands for people to try out. He’splanning on starting it at 6 going to whenever it dies down. You don’t have to have an already built warband to play as we have a couple in the library and Jason will be bringing warbands of his own for a little diversity of choice.

You and your adventuring companions have spent all day slogging through the dungeon\, killing monsters and taking their stuff. Now you’re back in town\, healed up\, cleaned up\, and ready to party at the Red Dragon Inn. \nDrink\, gamble\, and roughhouse with your friends. But don’t forget to keep an eye on your Gold. If you run out\, you’ll have to spend the night in the stables. Oh… and try not to get too beaten up or too drunk. If you pass out\, your friends will continue the party without you… after they loot your Gold of course! The last conscious adventurer with Gold wins the game! \nThe Red Dragon Inn is a modular game with standalone box sets and smaller character expansions called Allies. As long as you have at least one of the numbered box sets you can mix and match characters from any of the RDI products\, letting you build the party composition of your choice! Each of the box sets includes 4 unique characters\, a drink deck\, gold pieces\, and all the parts for 2-4 players to play right out of the box. Each of the Allies expansions includes at least one character deck as well as gold pieces and bits so you can add another character to a box set (thus making a 2-4 player collection 2-5 players).

SUMMARY:Purgatory House Learn to Play
DESCRIPTION:Join Robert Turk\, game designer\, author\, trivia host and learn to play Purgatory House.  This is a pick up and play horror themed RPG. \n  \n\nCharacter creation is a snap\, but you can jump right in with the included pre-gen characters!\nNo dice to play\, just two decks of regular playing cards (with Jokers!)\nDefinite endgame! A single adventure plays in 2-4 hours.\nDeath is not the end of the action! Dead characters become shades and can still impact the outcome of the adventure.\n\n\n\n\n\nThere are no complicated rules to memorize! If you can play Blackjack\, you can play Purgatory House!\nFour starting scenarios are included\, with opening descriptions and detailed Horrors!\nYou don’t have to create an adventure beforehand! The House Deck determines what rooms open up and what obstacles appear\, the Dealer simply interprets how to implement them.\nThe book is filled with examples\, gameplay options\, and descriptions for each room and obstacle!\n\n\n\n\n\nAll challenges are resolved with a hand of Blackjack. A player only takes damage if they bust!\nPlayers can exhaust relevant traits to adjust their total score or use found equipment for a one-time bonus!\nFailure creates “Rising Tension” which makes the next test harder!\nJokers (face up in the deck) can either heal a player or summon an Unstoppable Horror\n\n\nIt lurks atop a hill\, behind a rusting gate\, squatting amidst decades of weeds and neglect. Broken windows grin across the facade like jagged rotting teeth. Unseen eyes peer out with malice at those who pass it by. It watches\, waiting\, warning us not to venture in. \nIt creeps into our dreams. An unspeakable horror chasing us through a warren of endless rooms and devious disasters\, a maze from which we can never escape. \nThere are stories about the House. About the witch that lives there. About the couple who bought it years ago and then mysteriously died. About the old man who murdered his wife and kids. About the young woman who poisoned her abusive husband. About the lights that flicker in the windows on All Hallows Eve. About the faces in the shadows that watch from the attic. About the treasure buried in the basement. About the kids who went exploring inside and never returned. \nNo matter the city\, no matter the year\, the house is there; a blight on our subconscious\, a foundation of the neighborhood. It slumbers\, hunger building till another damned soul climbs the hill\, opens the gate\, crosses the weed-choked yard\, and slips inside. \nThen the House wakes up… And it feasts!

DESCRIPTION:Come out and join our growing Magic the Gathering community on Wednesday evenings! This is casual so come in anytime between the hours it’s running. \nCommander is an exciting\, unique way to play Magic that is all about awesome legendary creatures\, big plays\, and battling your friends in epic multiplayer games! In Commander\, each player chooses a legendary creature as the commander of their deck. They then play with a 99-card deck that contains only cards of their commander’s colors. Also\, other than basic lands\, each deck can only use one copy of any card. During the game\, you can cast your commander multiple times\, meaning your favorite Legendary Creature can come back again and again to lead the charge as you battle for victory! \nThese Commander decks introduce an ability called eminence that lets your commander lead from the command zone\, even before they have entered the battlefield. The eminence ability appears on characters from all parts of Magic lore\, allowing you to call on the power and skill of some of the best leaders in the Multiverse. \nThe Commander format is all about picking your hero and building a deck around them. In this casual\, multiplayer format\, you choose a legendary creature to serve as your commander and build the rest of your deck around their color identity.
